Murad.com for Great Acne Treatment

Back in my high school days, I only ever experienced the occasional pimple here and there. It was never a problem for me, but quite a few of my classmates became really conscious of their pimples and would try all sorts of acne medication just so they could get rid of the unwanted blemishes.

My siblings also suffered from outbreaks, but that was during their college days. Both visited a dermatologist and were given some acne medications which actually worked wonders for them. I’m just sorry I never asked them about the medication at the time because since then I am the one who has developed acne! It’s lucky I was told about one of the best acne medication on the market, which can be found at murad.com. By treating the pimples with this cream, the skin attains a really healthy glow as opposed to drying out the skin like some creams do. Murad Acne Complex doesn’t do that because it doesn’t contain harsh ingredients such as benzyl peroxide.

Medtronic Defibrillator Recall

I still can’t believe that a great friend of mine ended up in hospital from a heart attack! Apparently he is very lucky to survive, particularly after suffering the attack in a high rise football stadium. It turned out he needed a triple bypass operation and his condition was brought on by the unhealthy lifestyle he was living. I’m not surprised really as he spent all day watching TV and playing video games while stuffing his face with pizzas and soda pops!

You could see he was putting weight on, which was obviously affecting his cholesterol levels as well. I did try to stop him playing a game of football that day, but he didn’t listen to me. It was later on that he had his attack and when his face turned very pale I knew there was a serious problem.

On the way to hospital, the paramedics used equipment like a Sprint Fidelis Defibrillator Leads to try and revive him and keep his heart beating. These tools respond to the hearts rhythm, and if it appears to be abnormal then an electronic shock is administered to get the heart beating properly again.

But today I got news from the internet about Medtronic Defibrillator Recall because it was linked to 5 patient deaths also the Defective Defibrillator Leads can fracture and may have been contributing factor in the death.

Thank God my friend is OK!

How to Have a Great Body without Even Exercising!

Ha! I know I got your attention with the title. Having a great body without doing do so much. You just sit, stand and sleep. This is actually good news for you. NO, this isn’t surgery or liposuction if that is what you’re thinking already. No diet pills. Definitely, no exercises if that is what you want.

This is no more a secret for you and you already know it even without reading it. Would you still want to know?

To effectively lose weight means you’ve got to start controlling what is in your plate. You’ve got to take note that you only get fat because of what you put in your mouth.

It doesn’t mean that you won’t have to eat any more and be like Buddha. What I’m trying to say is make smart choices on what you eat. Try to know the amount of calories of all the foods that you always eat. You have to set a calorie limit everyday—say 2000 calories a day is just ideal for men and 1500 for women to effectively lose weight.

But, you have to remember that our body quickly adjusts to our eating habits. If we stop eating and continuously eat that same amount of calories everyday, our body will automatically adjust its rate of metabolism.

To lose weight effectively, one has to confuse the burning mechanism of our body and to do this, try to eat with your calorie limit for three to four consecutive days and then afterwards, reward your self with a day where you don’t have to watch your plate.

Depression and Foods

Depression is a term commonly coined for being very sad, even crying with no apparent reason and sleepless nights. In many scientific studies, they say that it is a psychiatric disorder for having too much anxiety, being pessimistic and losing interest in daily life. All of us have our own blues and feelings of down and depression although too much of this is dangerous and might actually lead to serious attempts of suicide.

You saw it on TV where the actress, after a heated argument with the actor, would thereafter divulge herself in eating bars and bars of chocolates and tubs of her favorite ice cream. Well, actually it’s true. Eating makes one feel well; it would actually fight away the blues!

But take note that not every food you will eat is the right kind for fighting depression. The right kind of blues busters are commonly found on sugars-which are called the endorphins.

What are endorphins? They are responsible mainly for releasing certain chemicals in the body to trigger the natural painkiller and anti-depressant. These chemicals which are usually found in chocolates contain high levels of anti-depressant. It’s actually taking away the depressed state and emotional triggers which the nerves are sending directly to your brain. That is why they say that “When you’re sad, eat chocolates.”

Other good releasers of endorphins are spicy foods which are essentially Mother Nature’s inducer of joy too. So, when you’re out there in your gloomy state again, try those Mexican chilis and spices to perk up your happy mood.

Depression is also related to a deficiency in vitamin B complex, which is usually found in carbohydrates. Load up on energy-giving foods like pasta, rice, wheat bread and cereals.
